I hope you’re doing well. I have a quick question about my current project. I’ve got a one single export of a 1-hour-30-minute concert that I’ve been working with, but unfortunately, the scene detection feature isn’t cutting it due to some lighting changes.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the cut information from the editor’s AAF in Avid to help me with the cutting in my Flame timeline. Would appreciate your thoughts on whether this is doable.
Conform the aaf without linking to any media then place the unlinked track in your sequence. You can then copy all the transitions from your unlinked track to your working video track.
Like @johnag said. You have to have both on the same timeline, right click on the track with the transitions in the left hand side panel and select Copy Transition to Track
