Typically there are three main ways to go about recreating shadows. All are hard.

If you have existing shadows, then, you’ll need to roto all of them. Then, create a lit and a shadow pass, and use your roto to reveal the shadow pass from the lit pass. The problem with this is mixing existing shadows with new shadows. You’ll absolutely need to remove all the practical ones and use roto/masks to make new ones. That’s unfortunately the only way.

Second, you’ll need to rebuild the scene using proxy geo. Depending on whether your camera and objects are static, moving, rigid, or deform, this could be easy or really, really hard. Add some lights to your scene, and boom, cg shadows.

Third. Eyeball everything. Ugh. Really hard.
