Just upgraded to 2026 - has the ability to add a node in between an existing node and a series of connections gone away? when i shift+alt and then hover over the node bin the schematic lights up in the usual way but the second i click it doesn’t add the node the way it used to.
It’s a known bug. It’s still possible, but it’s a bit fiddly. You need to bring the node into the schematic, then hold it on your pen, hold down shift-ctl, then kiss it to the node whose output you want to connect to with the new node. The window of reliablity is small. I often find I have replaced the node I’m connecting to, but when I hit undo, the new node is correctly placed. I’m on smoke keys, your experience may differ. I’m running an early version of 2026, so I don’t know if the fix has been implemented, or we need to wait for 2027.
