Simple word search Flame Family 2026 Documentation?

Isn’t there a way to do simple word search inside Flame Family 2026 Documentation?

Every word search I get 100s-1000s search hits, no first page results are inside actual documentation, even after choosing each filter.

Likely missing something simple, meanwhile dreaming of PDF documentation era LOL

Crazy Pills

Yeah somewhere along the way the search got hooked up to the entirety of Autodesk and it shows you matches across every piece of software, forum, etc. And the ‘Refine’ options on the side are of little to no help.

The whole thing is completely useless.

Ugh, OK so I’m not “totally” insane  I’ll submit challenge to Autodesk in hopes they can restore rudimentary functionality. Appreciate the response.

WOW, not bad, love this group, THANK YOU!

@mangelo - write a script that talks to flame and retrieves the API.
much nicer.

Holy Guacamole! :avocado::man_cartwheeling: Logik Mad Scientists  Much gratitude for idea, tho not much of a script writer, maybe a screenplay, at best simple expressions :folded_hands:

Meanwhile, tried to give feedback to Autodesk from Help inside Flame 2026, link is broken  Submitted a ticket, they had this to say, so maybe it will get fixed :crossed_fingers: Thanks again everyone for the help! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you for sharing the screenshots with your notes. I was able to reproduce both of these on my side. The filters do not help at all and searching different topics gives similar outputs.

I will share it with the team to address this. Here is the correct working link for Flame feedback. https://feedback.autodesk.com/key/flame

This statement gives me flashbacks to the battle I fought 12 years ago re: Flame docs as a usable PDF. You can surmise how it ended.

Less than 24 hours later and Autodesk FIXED the help documentation search, check out NEW “Product Documentation” filter, and it works! :man_cartwheeling:

BIG love to @Sinan for that back up solution PDF, Logik Hive Mind rocks it as always and Autodesk comes thru too :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
