morning - on my older system config i had a bunch of presets for the text soft fx and burn-ins etc that i could access in the little presets dropdown right under the soft fx itself - super quick and easy.
im trying to save txt presets now so they appear in that drop down, but no joy…any thoughts?
thanks phil - ive found in order to ge the ddrop down working - my setup needs to be in its own subfolder - but now that works, it wont load anything./…

solved.
i make a subfolder called LEGALS in my opt/autodesk/presets/text/presets folder
i load my text in to a node in batch, and save the entire text node from there ( the load/save buttons on the far right BEFORE i edit inside the text node )
then my drop down menu works, and the text setup loads super

That’s handy, I never used these preset functions…because they are always empty. Now I understand you have to create them first 
reading… who knew?
Annoying thing was that this is not written in the guidance.
@Dan - I’m not sure that’s right - the docs appear to have been published in the help files for at least two versions.
Maybe you’re using an older version of flame?
