Hi All.
Is there an option to swap shot - Ctrl+Shift+R and keep the BFX.
Every time i need to swap shots and the clip has BFX, I have to copy the BFX before swapping the shot, and paste it back. Otherwise I’m losing the BFX.
Thanks.

Hi, the fastest way i found is to go inside bfx and do a “replace from media hub”.
Unlink and relink will work only in some occasions.
There is no magic button. I try to use gap bfx’s if I don’t want to go full-up Batch Group, but when that’s not really possible, and I need to swap the clip in a bfx, I open it up, double tap the source clip which opens it on the timeline, then do a shift-J replace (It might be different with flame keys) or manually drag and drop.
yep, i figured it out that there is no “magic” hidden setting to keep BFX while swapping a shot.
thanks
Hi Francesco. How exactly do you perform this “replace from media hub” inside BFX please?
Surprising that ADSK doesn’t have an easier way to do this common task.

Just go inside a bfx and right click on the source clip (or the clip that you want to update). there you’ll find replace from media hub.
