My facility are finally updating our systems and i was wondering how i can save my user setups to take across with me?
I keep my macros in my USER tab in batch. You can save those to any external drive. Then re-load once you’re in the new user. Just beware the nodes are always going to be the ones tied to the version where you made them. If something (i.e. Blur) gets upgraded, you’ll always be pulling out the old version unless you update it manually in your macro.
For shortcuts, it’s not as easy and one area that could really really use some attention (if someone’s soliciting for something to do @fredwarren…). I have been using my old shortcuts by using the CopyFrom option when creating a new user. So far, no corruption…
