Testing out a Dell Laptop...Anything special you'd like to see tested?

I’m testing out a Dell Pro Max MB1625 laptop. It’s a certified config, and it has a Blackwell 5000 GPU w/24 gb of VRAM and 128gb of RAM. I have a suite of benchmarks that I put new machines through, but I wanted to see if there was anything in particular that anyone would like to see. This is my first time testing Flame on a linux-based laptop. Excited to see how it compares to the 6000 Blackwell and the M3 MBP!

Can you fry an egg on it under full load?

(but seriously, mainly curious about the the thermals)

One interesting comparison to desktops would be longer duration tasks. As heat management is a lot harder in that small form factor, does it end up throttling after a few minutes because of total heat load?

In particular large MV caching is interesting as it’s a combination of GPU (first 25% of runtime) vs CPU and NMVe for the remainder, which both give off major heat too.

NFS transfers to a shared volume compared to the same on a Mac.

It’s important that the nfs export has read write capabilities greater than the network fabric so that it’s a reasonably fair test between NFS and cached SMB.
