In January of 2021 @talosh came into my life when he shared his FlameTimewarpML with the Logik community. He told me on Logik Live that he developed it to solve a problem and decided to share it with everyone. What followed was the greatest gift we all could have hoped for, and for a couple of years Andriy answered every support question, added new features and kept improving it. Until MLTW and MorphML were introduced natively into Flame this was our only option, and it was nothing short of amazing.
At our Logik IBC party I was honored to be able to finally meet and thank Andriy in person, and present him with a small token of the community’s appreciation: A 5490 laptop from our good friends at Dell.
The best part: When Andriy stepped forward to say something, he told us that he was inspired by the memory of our dear friend Ivar, whose generosity knew no bounds. Somewhere, Ivar was smiling, surrounded by vintage tech and wearing a Stüssy shirt.
This is why we do this, my friends! Keep paying it forward!! Logik Love to you all!!
Ive worked with Andriy for a few years and he really is one the good guys in VFX. Always willing to help and is probably the smartest person I know. Cheers Andriy! @talosh
See you for a pint soon
God bless Andriy. TimeML saved my ass so many many time in past…. and nowadays … it allows work with more free vram and higher resolutions than flame. For me, it is still essential.
