This has been touched upon before, but I’m hoping to get some more insight in terms of the nuts and bolts of being freelance. I’ve been studio side for almost 30 years and am potentially entering the freelance market (still have some decisions to make). I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on how you’d do it if you were starting over knowing what you know now. Thanks!
It’s hard to say what I’d do now versus whenever it was I went freelance, but don’t undervalue yourself.
Everyone forgets about your rate after they book you, and if you do good work they’ll cal you back.
