What version are you running? I’ve seen so many posts here where people talk about their experiences using newer features, but maybe just as many posts warning people not to move to the next version. What are you using? (I know there are service packs, extension, etc. but let’s keep it simple)
I will caveat by saying I am planning to go up to 2027 at the next available moment
I’m on 2027.1 and loving it so far
I briefly jumped on 2027.0.1 after noticing all my python scripts using custom tokens were not working anymore. I had to revert back to 2026.2.2. I assume this has been resolved in 2027.1? Will upgrade soon again.
I’d be curious to know of all the people that have upgraded to 2027… are you in a big production environment with 10+ flames? do you have to deal with security protocols and audits for long form? I’m getting a hard no on upgrading from our team due to the database changes that started inn 2026…
That’s to be expected. Looking at it, seems like a mix. Would need to add a poll to know for sure.
At some point though the balance of the new features and the DB pain will become difficult math, but it will also be up to ADSK to address the remaining real or perceived pain points.
you can operate 2026+ in the same security paradigm as we have for the past 30 years.
There are other issues with 2026+ for which reservations should be taken seriously.
Yes, we are in a studio environment and still 2025.2.7.
2027.1 at scale
I run a studio environment and had no qualms upgrading to 2027 for security reasons. What exactly are those concerns?
