hey all. Workspaces. never used the one other than the default. I see that you can make another workspace go in and copy libraries and folders from the default one without hard copying. sounds good. Do people use them in their projects? im thinking I could have one thats pre grade and one thats mastering post grade. might be a nice way of segmenting the job
I’ve never used them as a single user, only when working with someone on a project.
Though your idea seems viable and a decent enough idea to keep your mastering workspace tidy.
never ever use them, might as well just make a second project.
Once you go “framestore-less” there really isnt a point imho, i consider this a legacy old people flame thing ![]()
Terrible advice. Workspaces are crucial when using a collaborative central project server workflow. Only way to have more than 1 person work on a project at a time. Flame is never framestore-less.
Im quite liking it. Nice to segment the overall project into more usable chunks. Shame it’s so slow between workspaces. might as well be launching a fresh project. Should be super quick I would’ve thought. Also surprised you cant archive just the workspace youre in. seems to be only whole project with all workspaces or individual desktops and libraries. I like the workflow though. Way too easy to delete a workspace though;. I was only testing it and I hit delete workspace on the project management expecting some sort of warning dialogue and the whole workspace was gone!!! bloody hell/
openclip workflow i know you refuse to use it but i can collaborate just fine without needing workspaces ![]()
