3D tracker - object tracker

Hola

Anyone know how to object track in flame? I’m pretty good with the camera track but never done an object solve successfully. Would have been handy to know today.

Any tips? Videos?

dont bother just go with keenTools geotracker in nuke, I dont even know you can do geo solves in flame?

It can work. I have gotten it to work a few times, but mostly the results are very unpredictable and difficult to clean up for effective use.

So i gave it a go. Did a camera solve, then an object track in the same action. The results for both were around 0.64. However, the object track seemed to have the inverse of the object whdn seen through the tracked camera. It was nonsense.

Then I was trying to draw a geo in 3d space with 3d shape and gmask. It would be really nice if one could move gmask vertices in z space to sculpt, but thats not possible.

All in all, a little disappointing. As you all predicted.
