Action Gmasks and a camera solve

Hey there!
I have a good camera solve in Action and I’ve been adding axes where I need them. I’m using said axes to hang an action gmask for roto. Here’s where I may be doing something wrong as I don’t do a lot of camera solving: Every time I go to add a new gmask to an axis, it automatically sticks itself to the surface used for the solve. I have to remove it from the surface and add it to the chosen axis. How can I get these rascals to just stick to the axis I’ve selcected? There’s gonna be about 50 of these things, it’s getting time consuming. Am I missing a crucial, yet easy step?
Thanks!
Steve

Copy the camera to gmask tracer and do all your roto there?

Yeah, I think that may be due to how the tracker works, but once you’re happy with the track, cut the axis node group off from the Analyzer node and they’ll all apply correctly.

After taking your advice on this, it’s been working like a charm for the last 7 days. Saved me SO MUCH time on roto.
