Nifty, for sure, but it does make me think about cultural stagnation.
If every movie star can play all ages for their entire life, we’re gonna need fewer of them. Fewer suprises, fewer interesting calls, just George Clooney in everything all the time.

One challenge of ML tools until now has been that the result are not deterministic. Every time you run it you come up with similar but not identical results. Which in some cases is ok, and in other can cause problems. If you age an actor there has to be some consistency between scenes. Can’t add or subtract wrinkles. Sounds like they worked on that aspect, but remains to be seen in reality.
Definitely fascinating and progress.
I just spray this stuff on my screen and, presto — you can’t make out any wrinkles.
