Animation Channel issues - Logik Live example

Just Watching Sinan Vural’s Logik Live on bicubics and he has totally come across this issue I always get in that i have to keep clicking on another node then back on the one i want to get the channel for to come up in the editor…
Am I missing something obvious like something changed in version 2024 maybe? I know AD made it ‘smarter’ but it seems a struggle sometimes to get the desired channel to come up???

Edit - this is not limited to channels that only have animation on

I think it’s muscle memory refusing to let go. I didn’t care to setup my defaults to selected rather than animated or left it as is. Hence my inability to see what I wanted to.
But yeah, I do especially miss being able to see multiple channels while manipulating only one of them.

I also figured what I did wrong when trying to copy the channels. I should have had AutoKey on when creating the shapes around the apple and the bottle. Then all the vertices would have keyframes and the copy operation would work as expected.

Fiddle around with the settings cog and filters at the bottom left of the animation window. You might be looking to uncheck “Automatic Channel Selection”

Yeah, I keep running into that as well.
I need to have the animation window already open so that, when I click the node, the animation curve shows up.
Before, that would happen “in the background” even if Animation wasn’t open yet.
