Archiving seriously needs to go away or at the very least an overhaul.

I wonder if this is related to the “micro-freeze” issue. I’ve been getting a lot of them and they are not as micro as the name might imply. But i’ve discovered that if I get one at the start of a render, it computes the freeze time into the render, and a short render starts off saying that it will be an hour, then the time proceeds to go down ten minutes at a time with each successive frame that gets rendered. This is purely speculation, of course.

I always like to do one separate archive thats just data no media, and then another separate archive for media…Ya know…cause of stuff like this…But yeah…looks like it should be about another 20 min or so. Time to put the kettle on.
