Shouldn’t automatte be its own node as well ?

Yes it could, what would be the essential controls for you in a specific node outside of GMask Tracer?

I totally agree that Automatte should be it’s own node. It is working fantasik for roto! I believe it will be used in nearly every setup I create, congratulations! The essential controls in said node would be everything in the ML portion of the selective controls using the matte pipeline. It’s going to be used so so much that it seems a waste to have to go through the process of adding an image or gmask node and dealing with all the grade or other stuff being there.

It took me so long to realise it wasn’t its own node. :laughing: I watched a Logik live and somehow I got the impression it was. But having used it in Gmask Tracer I think it makes sense to think of that as the default node for it. Because you almost always want to use it together with a garbage / holdout mattes.

The tiling of ROIs to quickly combine instances to maximise accuracy is the smartest addition too. Bravo.
