Warp Stab
All great suggestions.
Why not Flame Family Feedback them so we might actually see them at some stage?!!
I love the post after the release where Frederic lists all the feature requests, made through the official channel, that were fulfilled.
Haha, yeah there’s no better feeling than seeing your own suggestion implemented!
Yes agree. I’ve seen a couple of my suggestions implemented over the years. Makes me feel good. @fredwarren Any chance on the next release you can credit the person making the suggestion?
I always post links… you can open them and go see the submitters and the voters
Local subdividing of ext bicubics.
Honestly this post was intended as a general purpose rant though I suppose it would be worthwhile to brew up actual feature requests for these.
for what it’s worth, the matte blur request is five years old.
I don’t see an FR for that. My workaround is to use a resize node if I’m only working on that area. Set it to center-crop and then re-comp the smaller image back into the plate when it’s all done.
Watch out for the filter bug if you use crop/lock. The work around is to change the resize node to fit, letterbox or crop edges, change the filter to bicubic, then set the mode back to center crop.
Can’t find a feature request for this. probably why it hasn’t happened yet. ![]()
I’ve been asking since before the feedback portal existed. Have the original fax. We can upvote that…
Just feature-requsting my butt off over here. Doing the work (of asking others to do the work)
pics or it didnt happen. ![]()
Upvoted all of 'em.

Thank you Andy!
Several of those FF have been accepted already by the looks of it, which to my understanding means the Dev team have every intention that they’re going to do it and/or will be working on it….
Some of those acceptances are quite old though so not sure about how long they will take either…: like the text improvements…
Hopefully it’s a matter of when rather than if.
@andy_dill I think the flame does have a bit of warp stabilizer. In case you haven’t tried this: I have used the motion vectors in action to do this. Analyse and add a keyframe then use the tolerance slider.
