Me too!! Plus negate on every keyer.
I like this idea a lot. Seems like a very useful addition.
- Be able to stream more than RGB or A in a single Batch node connection. The whole Matte separation feels so last century
- Be able to expose internal parameter in group nodes
- Pixel expression node
A way to efficiently manage batch node bins. Simple stuff like copy from other users, change the order, or make a set of favorite matchboxes. Welcome to our Feedback Community
“make a set of favourite matchboxes”
YES, YES, YES!!!
Cloud preferences and plugins , I swear every time I upgrade I have to move so much stuff around that a simple cloud user would be amazing , that would hold matchboxes, ofx plugins, python scripts, setups, color prefs, keyboard prefs etc etc etc.
A Gmask Tracer that would allow you to have multiple Regions of Interest from the incoming matte, like old Gmask did…
Unless there’s a way…?
yea its a multiplied comp node
maybe i misunderstand something but cant you already do that with the user bin or the + option to make a custom bin? load it up with whatever you want
Haha. Yeah, that’s what I’ve been using to date…
@TimC The problem is, you cannot create another bin, like “beauty works” with all retouch relevant nodes, to put stuff there. It all ends inside the “user” bin, without a fast way to change them around.
yea its the flame way why do it one step when it can be done in two.
TimC, sadly, you can’t, it only works with the user bin. I think it’s a feature they started to add, but never developed it to work.
wow, didn’t realize until i checked it, you are correct. that shit doesn’t work at all @paul_round !
Just catching up on this fabulous thread! Thanks @fredwarren for chiming in a very special thank you to everyone who posted links to Flame Feedback!

@ManChicken apparently put this request in 4 YEARS ago. Sadly, you can’t upvote it. Not shown as accepted… Should we make another?
FL - 1232 - Bring ‘Region of Interest’ back into GMask Tracer
Hopefully they fix it just in time for me to move into the Metaverse
Yeah broooooo!
I just checked and it is not locked. I am not sure what happened, but there are 4 votes on it and you are one of those votes.
As a reminder, something being “New” doesn’t mean that it is was rejected. Accepted and New are basically treated as equals.
Ha! Well, that’s why I can’t upvote it.
I can’t remember what I ate for breakfast this morning, let alone what I did 4 years ago… Thanks @fredwarren
Still, the comp node multiply hack is a really inelegant way to get a feature we used to have in legacy gmask… How many black IPAs would it take? ![]()
