Hi guys,
Is it necessary to have at least two version layer on timeline to enable the compare mode?
I am unable to enable compare mode in one version layer.
Am I missing something?

I think that you need to set a primary(default) and a secondary video track to have something to compare to? These can be set to any video track not just a version track.
You can use a frame grab and compare to that.
Compare in BFX has a few more options from memory but as far as I know you are not limited to version tracks.
Yeah, i used to do the same. But Today even those primary and secondary options is not there. Very annoying…
