Hello
is there a way to copy/clone a segment (of the Timeline) to the same position on the upper track (V1.3) with keyboard shortcuts?
Thank’s!

SHIFT ALT drag the clip, that will copy the clip, then wile dragging the clip take your finger off alt but keep pressing shift, that will temporarily toggle snap on, and you can snap it in to position directly above the clip you copied. Is that what you’re after?
Smoke hotkeys penbutton4 drag up will copy the segment and have it on the end of your pen.
Or also on smoke when pen4 is not configurated it is cloaning the ‘F’ button
It works:) Thanks to all of you!
@johnag I’ve tried middle click, 4th click and 5th click - flame 20205.2.2 can’t get this to work through teradici 23.03.4 with my wacom mapped - is it just me or should I give up?
Better keep it simple.
Position the playhead on first frame of the clip - use snap or keyboard (cursor up) for simplicity.
To copy to higher track: Cmd+C, make upper track primary (click on red P), then Cmd+V
To move, Cmd+X and then Cmd+V
Entirely from the keyboard, should be the same for Smoke/Flame drivers.
You can also try holding the F key and drag the clip up
I miss the old way. It was so much more elegant. Quicker. And I miss pulling things from desktop and they would disappear, not copy.
Hi @randy I’ll give it a go with teradici update. I downgraded because I got loads of issues.
I’m not talking copy to batch. I’m talking dragging from desktop to timeline. There doesn’t seem to be a pref for that.
EDIT @randy pcoip 25.03.1 click pen drag copy works. Thanks. However the mapping seems to be off to the left by half a batch node icon (pulling stuff out of batch bin I often pull out the one to the left).
EDIT 2 only if I bridge the Wacom.
