For some reason, if I’m zoomed into a window to paint or tweak a key or whatever, if I hit F1, F2, F3 or F4 the windows reframes to fit the available space, so then I’d need to zoom in again. Very hard to get out of the habit of hitting one of those keys!
Any ideas what’s going on here? Thanks!
I believe the Compare Mode has snuck its way on. Turn it off and you will go back to normal. This happens to me once a week or so.
As a side-note, I feel pretty confident that this setting does tend to turn on seemingly randomly, without warning, and without me pressing the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + B). I haven’t added it to my list of bugs to investigate because it feels just so darn random when it pops up, but if anyone else has put more thought into what causes this to happen, I’d love to know.

Thanks Jeff, that’s exactly right. It was because I’d put compare on as side by side (which I hardly ever use) and so didn’t see anything odd with the main display. Cheers!
