Flame 2026 Library disappeared

I’m freelancing at a facility, operating a newly built rocky linux Flame 2026. I have’t used 2026 on a job before and fell foul of the media cache default setting.

Today the local drive reached capacity and a support engineer has advised that we make a new project with correct media cache path and wire from old to new. So far, so good.

When starting the wire from old project to new, I couldn’t find my most recent episode library representing the last 2.5 days work.

If not visible within Flame, has this library been backed up somewhere and is it recoverable?

@rorcharch I feel for you!

I sounds like perhaps the drive filled up and the library never got saved. I don’t mean to rub salt in the wound, but this is why I insist on archiving at the end of every day. Are you still able to log into the original project? Or are you only looking at it through wiredrive?

Thanks @Richard_Harris the excellent engineers sorted it. The library was recoverable from a backup.

Never seen that particular flavour of bum clencher before though

And you’re right @ytf - daily archiving is my standard practice. Just let it slide to fit in with the locals and see what happens

I love a happy ending
