I asked this on Discord but Iāll ask ask here as well. Has the feature of adding a node in between other nodes straight from the bin by using Alt+Shift+Double Click been removed? I canāt get it to work. Screen recording is from 2025
Same here, the only workaround is to drag the icon out of the bin while holding down the modifier keys.
In my case (smoke) itās ctl-shift on a mac kb
That work around doesnāt work for me. I think itās safe to say this is broken

Smoke keys all the way!!! It used to be shift-alt double click. I was hung up on sticking with shift alt. If I shift-ctl drag it works properly. I suppose I can get used to it. What bugs me is that shift-alt still highlights the connections properly but uselessly.
This is a defect. We did not remove that workflow intentionally.
Do we need to file a bug report? Or can we consider it noted?
