Text soft fx presets

so i like to standardise dept processes like legals and clocks etc with text presets

add a text layer, choose the preset from the drop down etc etc

ive just moved up to 2025 ( shutup yeh ) and im finding that when i choose a preset, it appends itself to the layer rather than a complete replacement. Even though it warns of a replace, it appends and i end up with 2 or more text layers in one TL FX layer

am i missing a pref choice or something?

I assume when you say “text” you actually mean “type.” I think the text tool was replaced by 2025. In any even, it is working for me in 2026.2.2
