Gmask tracer max blur

Hello,

Gmasks, both in tracer and in Action, have a hard limit of a 200 value setting for blurring the mask. Curious why there is this limitation?

I regularly have to pipe out masks, then do another blur function on them in batch, due to this limitation. It seems really unnecessary, when blur values in other nodes and matchboxes can go a lot higher.

In HD, 200 blur value is typically somewhat adequate. But when you start working in six or 8K, the max blur value does not proportionately increase.

So in higher resolutions, your masks look hard edged, and there’s nothing you can easily do about this.

Can we please not limit the gmask blur values?

If not, I’d appreciate understanding why this isn’t possible.
