Recently had a really bad time with an Intuos L because the Wacom software quality has truly went… I can’t even describe how and where it went. Suffice to say - the tablet does not get recognized if the machine it is connected to goes to sleep, or the USB hub gets disconnected.
Now I’ve bought a Huion Inspiroy 2 L and I’m just blown away how good it is, honestly. Ok, there is no eraser on the pen - but besides that everything is just top notch, and even the build quality feels better than Wacom’s. And the software is an app that you need to keep running - ok, it doesn’t run in the background and it has a Dock icon and all - but it works. Reconnecting the hub works. Sleeping the machine and waking it up again works and the tablet does not drop off. And once all the ridiculous security prompts in macOS are granted - all the input stuff works as well.
Anyone using those tables with Flame on the Mac? Do things work ok? Pressure supported, correct clicks/taps assigned?
Honestly hard to understand why one would buy an Intuos these days (and thank Lord their patents expired, they are going to get a beating they so duly deserve).
