Hi everyone!
I am working on a project where some libraries have become quite heavy.
I learned about the trick to start the project while holding shift to load the project with closed libraries from Grant’s great Time Capsule Video (Thank you for the video!)
But using this on my recent project shows strange behaviour:
Holding shift when starting Flame with the project makes the project load much faster, and after loading the libraries are closed.
But just after loading, flame freezes completely for a long time and when coming back, the libraries are all opened up again. I guess that is not the way this was meant to be.
Am I doing something wrong?
I am using Flame 2021.2.2 Update on an iMac Pro (10.15.7 )
Greetings from Hamburg!
There are some fixes coming down the line that might be related to the library issues. There is also a more general “micro-freeze” issue that ADSK is working on that might be part of this too.
Ah, good to know. Thank you for the reply.
