Logik Matchbook and the Legacy of Logik

Turns out Logik is derived from an old Sanskrit word meaning…you guessed it…trumpet.

I’m very averse to socialmedis so I only just saw this post.

I worked on a stereo feature with Mark Doney in Singapore and I do have a means of contacting his wife Grace. What would people want from this and I guess the real question is would people pay for the release?

Hey all! I would love to know if anyone knows how we can get a hold of Mark Doney’s shaders? I know he was selling them; are they lost forever? Specifically wondering if anyone has this one: https://flamemark.wixsite.com/postmanvfx/jumble Thank you!

I think it is quite hard to communicate with whoever runs that site now (if any).

Which part of the shader do you need?

I spent 15 minutes with ChatGPT just now and got about halfway to reproducing this. Combining all the functionality into one shader makes it a bit trickier to get it working, but if you’re only looking for one or two parts should be relatively straightforward.

I’d consider them lost. Tried. Not possible.

If anyone wants to call out specific shaders they’d like to have recreated, I’m happy to give it a go.

I’m probably not up to recreating the glass shader, but plenty of these seem relatively simple.
