Mac vram usage and monitoring

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone knows the best way to clear vram on a mac running flame? Always used to just log out and in again on linux once the resources bar went orange.

And a supplementary question for Randy, I think you recommended istat pro on your tech talk on logik-live (thanks by the way). I can’t see it but there are tonnes of similar sounding apps on the app store. Could you just confirm exactly which one you recommended please?

Thanks all,

Rich

BJANGO! No, thats not some kind of expression, thats the name of the company that does the iState pro I love.

All you have to do for the vram thingy is restart flame.

Thanks Randy :slightly_smiling_face:

Also, controversial tip, but I prefer to keep the Mac Menu Bar on all the time. It never occurred to me that it could be very helpful until I had to monitor my system resources so closely. By turning it on, it gives you great insight as to what Flame is doing when its doing stuff.
