Yes, that is correct.

Also, because I know you enjoy pedantry as much as I do, usually the rear channels are labeled LS and RS, for “surround.”

And the stereo pair should probably be labeled LTRT for Left Total Right Total, which is the basic mixdown of the 6 channels into a pair. Which is exactly what one would get if the broadcaster just mixed down the 6 tracks.
