Finally got around to finishing this up…
It takes a path from windows, mac, or linux and allows you to extract portions and translate to a valid path on a different system. So translating a windows path to the valid mac/linux path, or even a path between 2 mac/linux machines that have different mount points for some reason (god save you).
Hopefully the screenshot makes sense. I would use this frequently when getting paths from the AE artists that were all on windows boxes but connected to the same server, just different mount and slightly different path.
You can set it to grab from the clipboard and even save presets. Right click a folder in the Media Hub, then choose Navigate… > Path Translator.
