First post here. Does Mac Flame capable of using the new RX 6900 XT GPU?

Whilst I don’t know if it is officially certified yet, I cannot recall an AMD graphics card that worked on Mac that Flame didn’t support.

@fredwarren is this an accurate statement ish?

Totally. It’s a ton of money to drop on something that isn’t documented yet. Most likely its just because its been released recently.

Benchmarks look like a solid improvement over the Vega II.

Yeah, the Navy architecture is quite good and comparable with Nvidia offerings in performance. With proper driver support it should be a worthy upgrade.

@randy Your statement is indeed Ok. Just keep in mind that going with a card that is not certified is always a shot in the dark. 99% of the software may work properly, but there is that one feature that may not.
