Selecting a Channel from Animation Curves

Hi folks, for the life of me I cannot work out how to click on a curve in Curves and have it select that channel.

Used to be able to just click the line rather than a point.

To be clear, if I have Curves up and I want to check one of the Channels, I want to click it then have that Channel selected.

Isn’t it the little filter button bottom left. Looks like an upside down conical beaker.
