Anyone had any success in flame making a step Printing effect in flame?

I’m struggling to replicate it as effectively / easily as it’s done in premier or after effects.

I once did this by ramping up motion blur, then using the strobe setting in timewarp

i did something similar recently. try stabilise talent - TW (ML on) 10% - average - TW 1000% (ML on) - invert stabalise

Thanks both.

Tried very similar approaches. It lacks the decay and control of what they are after. I’ve got sapphire trails working fairly well.
