Hello everybody,
I have issues in Action with imported models I made in Blender. Not just this model but a lot.
The model seems ok in Blender and topology normals too.
Hardware AA : 4x
Antialiasing Software AA : 4 samples
I wonder if it’s ok to import models avec relight them, play with PBS maps, reflections etc. and get a final production level render look.
It’s not a very big project so I don’t want to make animations and renders in Blender and import them to Flame to compose them but this made me think about the workflow.
Waht do you think ? What is your way to make motion design all in Flame with 3D objects ?
thank you

Maybe Flame prefers triangles over quads?
Other than setting the antialiasing to 96 and praying I don’t think a lot will help. Maybe setting your clipping planes close to the model…
For all the amazing stuff that Action does, when it comes to 3d rendering it’s basically a game engine.
And to answer the second question: I mostly don’t do motion design in flame. I’m rather bad at it.

3D objects in action! YES! I love it.
Here are some simple steps to get you started:
Set your action colorspace to AcesCG
Add IBL to your camera
Add a shader node to your geometry and set to Physically Based
Play around.

Hello Sinan,
I go exactly this way but there are bugs and glitches in models… strange.

I can take a look if you want to share your setup.

Hello Julioleon, I tested with the same models with triangles but same bugs and glitches.

Hello Andy,
Wow !
I was in default camera with wide angle and close to objects.
I changed the focal length and push back my camera, and voilà !
No more glitches and bugs to models !
You saved my day Andy !
Thanks a lot !

Camera too close to models with wide angle default camera.
I had to push back the cam and use another focal length. It’s ok now.
