2-up view (or more) issue in Flame 2023.2

Hello everybody,

Do you have issues with 2-up view ou more than 2 views on Batch or Action ?
My 2022.3 is ok. It’s a bit annoying to work without split view on the last Flame version.

Do you have solution for this bug ?

Two things to test:

  1. Go to the View menu and apply a Reset All in the Viewport section.
  2. If that didn’t work, try to test in a new project with a new profile.

Reset All in Viewport is the solution. It’s a new bug with 2023.2 ?

No, this is not new. It happens that the Viewport configuration gets “corrupted” somehow. We never figured out all the ways this can happen.

Thanks for the tricks.
I’ve got the same issue on the source-sequence timeline. only one screen.
Is-it possible to reset the view?

There are two things you could try:

A. If you do not have a lot of Flame user profile customization you could try to simply create a new Flame User Profile.

B. If you do not want to create a new user you can try to:

  1. Exit Flame
  2. In a Konsole/Terminal delete the following file: /opt/Autodesk/user/name of your user/status/MVSrcRec.pref
  3. Start Flame
