Solved elsewhere here, but here’s the official link:
Odd, I don’t have that first option available so i guess next solution is Uninstall and reinstall flame? Seems harsh, oh well.
Thanks!
tpo_cas isn’t in there? then it’s something else hanging it up
2023.2, recent install and just noticed this. deleted tpo_cas, no dice.
Anyone having issues installing matchbox shaders with 2024? Gettign same error as @Jonhollis ? Has it worked for anyone?>
Lemme guess. New-ish Mac? I think whats happening is Mac doesn’t ship with Python anymore by default. The Logik-Matchbook installer simply copies the shaders to the right place. You can do that by your own by copying the downloaded shaders to:
/opt/Autodesk/presets/version/matchbox/shades/LOGIK
I have reached out to @julik about this issue but have yet to hear back. I’ll keep y’all posted.
Still hasn’t worked for me. I have to manually install. I also tried installing python but still cant get timewarp ML working.
Sorry if you’ve tried this, but I had trouble on my mac until I went to .4.3:
https://github.com/talosh/flameTimewarpML/releases/tag/v0.4.3
Now it works great, except it’s very (VERY) slow. I’d say get a Linux machine if you need to do this kinda work often.
Yup, exactly right, …brand spankin new M1 Mac Studio! thanks for the info!
