3D object imported but getting "reversed" lighting effects

Hi all,
I have been supplied with a 3D object. I have the object in both .fbx and .obj
I import the object simply enough, however when I add a light to the shot, the light is affecting the object “reversed”- If I move the light to the right side of the object…it is giving me a shadow on the “lit” side. I’m assuming that the object might be saved out incorrectly? Anyone have any tips or a note I can pass over to the 3D person?

If I try to import any of the system default .3ds shapes…the light is working fine on these.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Try hitting “Flip Normals?”
