Action rendering rogue frame question

Going to try and explain this one the best I can and hopefully someone had the same issue and maybe has a solve … :crossed_fingers:

  • working inside BFX with handles
  • range set to “media range”
  • dozen layers inside Action with some tracking (perspective grid, planar … etc)
  • motion blur on (doesn’t make a diff if off)
  • every single time at frame -1 when rendering, all layers jump and shift out of position
  • happens only when I render (write to file), scrubbing or stopping on frame -1 is fine
  • no rogue keyframes in animation editor
  • setting a single keyframe on surface Axis in order to force it to stay in place does not help
  • restarting Flame helped once but now that does not solve the issue

Hi Igor.

I’m not sure I’ve seen exactly this issue, but I have had issues with BFX, if there is any slipping involved in the timeline. My weak solve has been to just copy all of the BFX nodes into a Batch group (not BFX), render and put in the TL.
