Adding TL marker without renaming

Not sure when this functionality was introduced, but I see that when you add a marker with the \ hotkey, it now brings up a dialog to name the marker, whereas before it just added it then you could choose to rename it.

Is there any way not to bring up this dialog box, and just add? I’m typically marking up lots of places real fast. Not a huge deal, but…

You can turn that off in your preferences.

I think it’s under the Timeline tab.

Amanda, it’s under Timeline → Add Markers, on the far right. Yikes, watch out for the rise of the far right!
