I’m just gonna leave this here. I would seriously give away both my kidneys for a feature like this in Flame. Really just the ability to stroke at all would be an amazing start.

It looks like a bicubic with a texture running through it. What is it doing outside of that? What am I missing?
It’s much more than that, the texture was also made and animated all inside the plugin, all generated from those two pen-masks. (not to mention it doesn’t crap-out when you twist inside-out)

I reckon I need this effect at least once a year 
What I feel is, AE has plugins for very specific purposes like this one whereas Flame is, build-your-own-tool…
