Archive failing to restore

Hi all,

Trying to restore a 2021 17TB archive to a 2024 machine. I’m getting the dreaded “Header expansion failed. Select online TOC”. The VFX facility that created the archive don’t think they have an OTOC saved for that archive. Do I have any options here?

Did you get the archive from a ftp server? With hope the header just got destroyed by the ftp-client while uploading it in default.

I did, exactly so. What’s the best way to remedy - do I need to specify binary mode?

You can ask for the first file of the archive only, compressed in a zip file.

Just to say thanks so much all. Got the OTOC resent via wetransfer and it worked first time. What a relief!
