Client shot Arriraw and we can’t read it on Flame 2025.2. Pdf of shoot report says
ARRIRAW 12bit reverse, HDR in mxf file type. Never had a problem with Arriraw.
In addition it can’t be read in Resolve and After Effect, and MediaInfo.
Any help is welcome.

Were they able to make dailies from it? How was that done?
By a 21 year old DIT niece of the insurance underwriter at $1000/day…
Or maybe a nephew at $1600/day…
they did have a program that they use that would convert it to avid DNX format. It seemed to converted fine. But it does seem that it’s missing some of the mediator in the Arriraw files.

I think they used Silverstack Labs software. I’m going to see if i can send a short clip to Stephane.
Which camera were they using?
Checked in with Stephane. Client used the most recent SDK for Arri. Unfortunately it’s not available prior to 2026. We’re on 2025.2 because we need to upgrade to a more current release of Rocky on Linux to move to 2026.
I would hope that there would be an engineering release to previous versions to accommodate new camera SDKs. Perhaps that’s not possible.
We sadly cannot port back camera SDK to legacy releases. This is sad but for camera formats you need to keep current and plan your OS upgrade as soon as when we provide the information for upcoming releases.
