Is now the right time to develop a ArriLog to Canon Log workflow?
Or should we just stick to the superior ACES 2065 interchange?
What? Did Canon buy Arri, finally?
with the ability to convert to ACES and back my question is:
Does it matter?
(Although yes, I lament that there may be fewer perceptual choices, but equally no, this would be an astonishingly good way to build a stills/motion workflow with acceptably amazing colour workflow)
To be clear, I don’t currently know who is buying who.
My suspicions are about as useful as crystal ball views into the price of gasoline or ice cream.
