Hiya… Did this issue ever get “solved”. Found myself in a situation where I need to pull in some ISO s from a studio shoot and it’s all been delivered as atomised DNxHD .mxf. Can see the first frame of each video file but nowt for the rest. Ta
Hard to say since MFX files can be made of various essence and metadata. I would recommend getting to our Support team and provide a faulty file to help the investigation.
We have figured a work around where if the clips are consolidated in Avid first then they can be brought into flame without issue. We also have the same thing happen with .mxf files generated from Nucoda… It’s most likely a metadata thing that Avid is doing “correctly”.
Wow! Would be great if you could get to our Support team with content showing the issue AND the consolidated version so we could better understand the issue.
I can get some thing sent over once the job is finished… Production are a bit iffy with things going out before the show has TX’d, even if its just to the support team.
