Hi need to know quite urgently if Flame can import Canon R5 files XF-AVC.
I dont want to transcode anything.
I’m about to get a ton of rushes shot and its for web. (basic furniture product shots in a house)
Can flame import
XF-AVC in ALL-I or Long GOP up to 810Mbps,

I’ve worked with xf-avc files from c300s and c70s without issue, I would assume an R5 is the same.
Your posts reminds me though that I need to make a Feedback Request for canon raw support…transcoding sucks.

These files will be .mxf. Can I assume that Flame imports any mxf files?
Yes.
If they shot log, you may want to verify which flavor (clog 2 or 3)…I can’t remember if it’s in the metadata and I’m not near my machine to check.
flame certanly does not import all mxf files.
mxf is a container that can contain anything, from arriraw to h265 , prores and anything in between.
