Can't replace desktop in library when saving

Hey there!
I’m on 2021.2.1 BigSur 11.2.2
I no longer have the option to replace a desktop when saving to a library. Creating a new user hasn’t helped. Could I have inadvertently checked something by mistake?

Negative… the maddening part is that this was working just fine this morning!
