Creative LUTs? Arri Look Library?

I wish color correction or color grading would always process and output in a ‘technically non destructive’ way (Like Log input → log output). Unfortunately, creative LUTs available out there seem to almost always output in a display referred color space. Imho, it would make more sense to keep the footage in it’s input color space/bit depth (and color grade under a purely technical Display LUT), and then convert to whatever display referred color space as needed using non creative maths.
I’ve seen way to often colorists giving us back log renders that were in fact re-converted from video, with no dynamic. Kinda useless.
Just stumbled upon the following links, i didn’t watch the videos but overall it doesn’t seem bad for beginners interested in learning a bit more.

Just my 2 cents.
